“I’m afraid.” “I’m going to die.” “I’m stuck.” Hey, unfortunately these hop onto our “most played list” when diagnosed with breast cancer. We all struggle with this mindset, and if you’re struggling right now, it’s time to push through. There’s plenty you can do. The truth is, we all have the power to live up to our highest vision of how our life will be. You have the power to follow through and make significant changes. You have all this power because you have a CHOICE. In each moment Choose: What you think. What you do . When you are being pulled in many directions by forces beyond your control, make the time to realign yourself with what you value most in life. Break the rules. Do not be held prisoner to old ways; doing and responding to moments in life in habit. The “familiar” is safe, not necessarily healthy or good. Reality is, we immediately are afraid, uncertain and angry toward the unknown, the threat of cancer and the challenges it presents in the routine of our life. There’s nothing fair about cancer and no one deserves it!
