I am uncertain if I will ever understand why cancer takes some away, but I do know this:
The light that each brought to the world shines on, forever.
It radiates throughout the life we are all living here now, without them. It encompasses us in the stillness, and we know that they are near.
And if there is anything we can give to to each — something that bridges the space between this life and the next ~ it is the promise:
That they will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED ~ That they will ALWAYS BE CELEBRATED ~ That they will FOREVER BE HONORED.
National Cancer Survivors Day®, today, symbolizes hope and the continuance of raising awarness.
Today, we pause to respect everything it takes to fight this monster and treasure every bit of this prescious life we live for ourselves and others.
